Volkswagen Polo GT 1 2 L TSI Arrives on April 25th
Volkswagen Polo 1.6 was one of the fastest hot hatch in India. But sadly because of the high pricing Volkswagen couldn’t sell much and forced to stop the performance variant. Now Volkswagen is again coming back with another performance variant for Polo which is called Volkswagen Polo GT. Now overdrive.in got the spy pictures of Polo GT 1.2 L TSI.
On the outside Volkswagen Polo GT 1.2 L TSI looks similar to the Polo SR edition. which comes with skirts,spoilers and black head lamps. Door sills have the GTI badge in it. Interiors are finished in dual tone texture and pedals are done in brushed metal for sporty driving. Volkswagen Polo GT is powered by 1.2 L TSI engine which makes 105 BHP of power and 175 Nm of Torque. This engine is mated to either 6 or 7 speed Automatic gearbox. We hope that Volkswagen brings the DSG gearbox.
1.2 L TSI engine gives excellent performance and also mileage of 14 Kmpl. Motorbeam reports that Volkswagen will launch the Polo GT 1.2 L TSI on April 25th. Pricing of Polo GT will be on the higher side. Enthusiasts in the country are having a good time. Finally companies are bringing hot performance hatches to India. After the Polo GT it will be the Punto Abarth which is a super performance hatch back. Can we expect Maruti to launch the Swift Sport in India.
