Tata Motors Working on Indica Vista Automatic
Tata Motors is working on the Automatic gearbox for Indica Vista.Automatic gears in India is a new trend which is catching up only.All the automatic hatch backs in India is powered by petrol engines.If you want a diesel Automatic then Hyundai Verna is the only option.And the price is on the expensive side.Automatic variants didn’t sell much that’s why most of the manufactures didn’t focus on it.But Tata Motors is working on an automatic gearbox for Indica Vista Diesel.Then Indica Vista will be the India first Diesel automatic hatch back.
Tata Motors is already working on Automatic gearboxes for Safari storme and Aria.Most of the gearboxes in the hatch backs are either CVT or Torque converter type gearbox.If Tata Motors can bring a dual clutch gearbox in Vista.It will change the image of Indica Vista family.Dual clutch gearboxes give similar performance to their manual ones and also more economical than regular automatic gearboxes.Engineers in Tata are working day and night to make the Diesel Indica Vista Automatic a possibility.We can expect the Indica Vista Automatic to arrive soon in our market.
