KTM BAJAJ to Launch Husqvarna Dual Purpose Enduro Soon in India
KTM is one of the newest entrant in our bike Market. But the Austrian Bike Maker has caught the imaginations of Youth with aggressive Duke 200. Aggressive styling, Killer performance and Affordable pricing made the Duke 200 a big hit in the country. Now KTM wants to follow the success story with new bikes also. We know Duke 390 is coming to India. KTM CEO Stefan pierer bought the Husqvarna brand from BMW. Husqvarna makes motor cross bike and naked bikes. Now KTM wants to introduce the Husqvarna brand in India also. With the partnership of Bajaj KTM will make a new Dual Purpose Enduro Bike for India.
The only Multi purpose bike in India is Hero Impulse. India has potential for Such bikes. Because our roads are very bad and some times there will be no roads. Dual Purpose Enduro Bike will be powered by a all new engine architecture which Bajaj and KTM are working on. We can expect the displacement to be between 150 and 200cc. New Bike will be manufactured in Bajaj Chakan plant. This bike will be sold in India and other international market also. We can expect the bike to be launched in 2014 and will expand the Multi purpose bike segment.
